What equipment does Media have?

Media has laptops, tablets, projectors, easels, DVD/Blu Ray players, and more for faculty use.

 

Students are able to checkout HD video camcorders and tripods.  

Does Media loan out laptops/tablets?

Media lends out laptops and tablets, but only for faculty use. There are a limited number of laptop computers that are available at the library circulation desk. These laptops may not leave the library and can be borrowed for 4 hours at a time. You must speak directly to the circulation staff, and fill out a loan contract to borrow equipment.

Yes, we have three HD video camcorders and tripods that can be borrowed for 3 days. You must contact someone from Media's staff to fill out a loan contract acknowledging financial responsibility for loss or damage to the camera.

The Media office is in the library in room L189.

Yes, Media does have some USB connected mics that can be borrowed for in library use. The circulation desk also has condenser microphones for borrowing.

Does Media loan out digital cameras?

Media does not currently possess any digital cameras to loan out.
What are Media's hours?
Media's office hours generally are within the library's hours of operation. Hours can be adjusted as needed by appointment.
